Spare Change & Bills
That change in your pocket at the end of the day can really add up! You can help by dropping spare change or bills into the bag your flyer came in throughout July. (Or any other container if you didn’t receive a flyer.) Instructions for returning the change on July 31st will be posted here shortly.
Car Wash–$20
Saturday, July 17, 2-4 pm––Have your car washed and cleaned inside and out, right in Montara, while you sip home-roasted coffee and enjoy sweet treats, all for a donation of $20.
Appreciate Your Neighbor Gift–$10
Saturday, July 24––Brighten a neighbor’s day by purchasing a plate of 12 homemade cookies for them, along with a custom Water For Life greeting card created by Montara youth. We’ll deliver the cookie plate and blank card to you on July 24 so you can pass it on.
Breakfast for Two–$20
Saturday, July 24––Enjoy a delicious homemade breakfast for two delivered to your door at your chosen time between 9:00 am–10:30 am. The menu includes homemade scones or muffins, fresh fruit, home roasted coffee or rooibus tea, orange juice, and more. Sponsor a Walkathon Youth–$20
Saturday, July 31––Sponsor a youth in a walkathon as they walk to locations all over Montara, cumulatively picking up cases of water in a hand drawn cart. Sponsors receive one of the hard-earned cases of water, celebrating the gift of safe water Montara will supply to needy Rwandan kids.
Montara Yard Sale
Saturday, July 31, 8 am-3 pm––support a town-wide yard sale by either signing up to hold your own yard sale, or buying items at participating sales that day. Participating sales will donate at least 10% of profits to Water For Life. Contact us right away to host a sale so we can help advertise!
Homemade Doggie Treats–$5
Homemade doggie treats will delight your pet and support Water for Life. Ingredients are listed. $5 a bag.
50/50 Raffle Tickets–$5
Purchase a raffle ticket, support a great cause and get a chance to win cash! 50% of the raffle money goes to the holder of the winning ticket and 50% goes to Water For Life. Winner announced on Sat., July 31st.
