City-Wide Garage Sale

Make Montara the garage sale capitol of the Peninsula on Saturday, July 12th! The Greenhouse will cover advertising for every home in Montara that holds a garage sale that day and gives 10% of their sale earnings to charities benefiting people in desperate need. When you're through, come join us for a Montara community BBQ!
Some Details
The Greenhouse will be advertising in the Half Moon Bay Review, Craigslist, Coastsider.com, and other Bay Area publications, so expect a good flow of traffic.
Participating garage sales will donate 10% of their profits to any of three great charities that are doing work for the very needy (see the box above). You can make your checks out directly to those organizations. Please bring your donation to the community barbecue afterwards so we can tally up the amount raised for charity. The Greenhouse will bundle the donations and send them in.
Community BBQ, 2-4 PM
When you're done, come celebrate your successful sale at an afternoon community BBQ down at the Montara Post Office parking lot––we’ll have good food and family fun! The Greenhouse will provide burgers, baked beans, sodas, and chocolate cake. All of the suggested donation of $10 per person for lunch goes directly to the charity of your choosing.
There will be fun games for kids and families, so come on down!
