"Egg" Hunt Food Drive: Tons of Food
Sorting bags of food during the Montara food drive.Who were the big winners of the city-wide hunt? Needy coastsiders! Scores of families collected well over 200 bags of donated food for Coastside Hope, an organization that serves the needy on the coast. Violeta, who works for Coastside Hope, told us: "Our pantry was looking a little bare. Usually we have half the warehouse full of food, but because of the weather and layoffs, we have been giving out more food than usual! This will really help!" By our estimates, Montara donated 1.5 tons of food. That's right, tons! Thank you, Montara, for your generosity and compassion. Be sure to see the photos of the food drive!
